Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the answers to some of our frequently asked questions about post-renovation and post-construction cleaning. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact Enviropure.

Why would I need a post renovation cleaning? Don't the contractors handle that?

In a perfect world, home renovation contractors would leave every job site just as pristine as – or better than – when they first walked in. In reality, while many contractors are great at performing their core strengths, cleanup often isn’t among those. Drywall renovations, for example, can leave a fine layer of DUST all over the house. Ottawa homeowners are often left with quite mess to deal with, once the home renovation contractors have finished their work and collected their payment. That’s when it pays to hire Ottawa’s post-renovation cleaning pros at Enviropure. You’ve come this far, hiring a great crew to perform quality home renovations for you. Now it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy that new space in the CLEAN comfort you deserve. With our Ottawa post renovation cleaning services, we’ll bring your entire home up to great shape – fully clean, spotless and dust free. Enjoy your newly renovated basement, living room, kitchen, bathroom or other space in your home – in totally CLEAN comfort, thanks to our Ottawa post-renovation cleaning services.

How do you ensure that a thorough post-renovation cleaning job is performed?

Just like you’ve vetted the home renovation company & crew that remodelled your kitchen, bathroom, basement or elsewhere in your home, you also want to weed out the good cleaning companies from the… others. You wouldn’t let just anyone into your home, after all. And you want full value for the heard-earned money that you’re paying for your post-renovation cleanup (on top of that reno). That’s why we encourage people to compare and contrast the players in the Ottawa cleaning business. Check out their reviews, their word of mouth, and find out what people are saying. At Enviropure, a leader in Ottawa post-renovation and home cleaning services, we’re proud to have earned stellar reviews (4.5-star Google rating), recommendations, referrals and repeat business. You’ll also find our stature with the BBB, including being an accredited business with an A+ rating.

Who is post-renovation and post-construction cleaning for?

Our post renovation cleaning services are ideal for Ottawa homeowners who have recently completed:

Kitchen renovations
Bathroom renovations
Basement finishing projects
Flooring replacements
Painting projects
Whole-home renovations
Home additions or remodeling projects

Whether you have completed a small upgrade or a major renovation, professional cleanup helps remove the dust and debris left behind before you return to using your space.

When should you schedule post-construction cleaning?

You should schedule post construction cleaning after all renovation work has been completed and contractors have finished creating dust and debris.

You may need professional post renovation cleaning if:

Your home has visible construction dust on surfaces
Drywall work has been completed
Fine dust continues to settle after cleaning
Renovation debris remains in your home
You want your newly renovated space ready for furniture and daily use

What exactly is ''Natural'' post-renovation cleaning?

As part of our Ottawa post renovation cleanup services, we at Enviropure are proud to offer our “Botanical” cleaning services that are All Natural. We are committed to the safety of your family and our team, as well as the well-being of the environment on our planet. That’s why we only use natural cleaning products and processes. What exactly does this mean? Well, we won’t use any products, for example, that contain volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) or toxins. That’s how we bring a safety way of post renovation cleaning in Ottawa. You’ve just had your home renovated, and the last thing you want is for you, a family member or pet breathing in something you shouldn’t be. With Enviropure’s natural process of Ottawa post-renovation cleaning, you and your family (and your pet(s)) will breathe easier since we’re using cleaning products and methods that are better for everyone.

When should I schedule my Ottawa post renovation cleaning?

Working with home renovation contractors usually means some degree of latitude when it comes to scheduling. Things don’t always run on time. That’s why we recommend taking with your contractor and getting a rough idea of the end date. Go ahead and give us a call once you know that date, and we’ll get you on the schedule for a post-renovation cleaning in Ottawa. Granted, we are aware that this date could change. We ask you to touch base with us as the home renovations are progressing. Should you need to postpone your Ottawa post-renovation cleanup to a later date, please let us know with advance notice. You’ll want the cleanup to take place very soon after the renovations are done, though sometimes this can’t be timed perfectly. The more we stay in touch, the better the timing tends to be.

I'm leaving town while the renovations are underway. Can I leave a key with you to perform post-renovation cleanup?

By all means! We have many clients who have entrusted us with a key to their home; often this is for ongoing home cleaning services on a regular schedule, but many clients also give us a key to perform other services such as carpet cleaning, mold remediation, move in / move out cleaning, and post renovation cleanup. We are a fully insured, WSIB compliant, A+ accredited BBB business with years of experience helping homeowners and property managers with Ottawa home cleaning services. We handpick our home cleaning crews and entrust them with our own homes. Should you with to leave a key with us for your Ottawa post-renovation cleaning, let us know in advance so that we can make all the arrangements.

What Our Customers are Saying

My wife and I decided to renovate the basement and after the painter left all the dust and dirt all over the place I was faced with cleaning it up.I asked one my friends who cleaned up their place after their renovation. He told me to call ENVIROPURE.
I actually still can’t believe how great a job they did. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Enviropure came to clean our house after a large-scale renovation. They used advanced tools and skilled cleaners to take care of dust everywhere – even obscure places we hadn’t even thought about. We were able to move back into a house that looked, felt, and even smelled like new, even after lots of renovation work had been done. It was worth every penny.

Kurt R. – Google Review

The cleaning team calls and lets us know when they are coming. Very polite team(s). Good job whether it is 2 or 3 or 4 people. Very happy with the teams that we have. I would recommend the team to anyone! I recommended my father unfortunately, the teams do not go to Embrun. We have also recommended the teams to a couple of our neighbours.
